My name is Sarah Klein, and I am a Product and UI/UX Designer.

My goal is to understand what problems people experience out in the world and to thoughtfully make those experiences better.

I received my Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. I am currently a Product Designer at Schoology where I work on ed tech solutions for teachers, parents, students, and school administrators — that’s users ages 5 and up! I also have experience working on enterprise event and hospitality management software at Cvent.

Outside of Schoology, I am an entrepreneur, which means that I am constantly conducting market research, user research, and lean prototyping. I am currently working on a solution to help women entrepreneurs find the technical partnership they need.

My strengths include:

Strategic Design

Collaborating with product managers to ensure designs support our long-term business vision.

Interaction Design

Designing interaction models and micro-interactions communicated using different tools.

Design Facilitation

Leading design thinking and collaboration between project stakeholders and team members.
